I looked into the problem regarding error 131, and it seems like the EA really don't want to trade with 0.1 lots.
I tried backtesting the EA with TadawulFX (4 digits price feed). Tadawul allow increases in 0.05 lots (eg. 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, etc.). I set the settings to:
Lots=0.1
MM=0
AccountType=0/1/2
BrokerPermitsFractional Lots=True/False
Now, it actually does trade, but get a lot of OrderSend error 131, and the trades starts with 0.15 lots, and not 0.1 lots (no matter what settings used). I think that there might be some problems with the code that defines the lot size. 😑
Did you try and test the EA using the FxPro client? 😱

Just to clarify wackena, you mentioned you are using default v2 EA settings. Is this still the case or are you using the "bogiehedgehogv3a.set" presets?
The lift to success is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs, one step at a time.

I am using version2 and it does not display a take profit.Is this normal ? Does the ea manage it internally ?
Thanks
Yes, first 3 sequential trades are managed internally and Market Stop sl is set on 4th trade.

Hi wackena,
Hi did optimization with hedgehog v4a on both eurusd and usdchf on my demo alpari account.
I found a little different optimization for both pairs, so I'm going to use an optmize set for eurusd and another different set for usdchf, they are a little bit different on step and matrendperiod parameters.
I think I will start on real account with a conservative settings: multiply 1 and fixed 0.01 lot
Actually I'm traying on demo with default multiply 2.
Wackena any problem using a different set on eurusd and usdchf with multiply at 1 ?

My broker allows microlots.Would it be sufficient to open an account with $ 1,000 and trade both EUR/USD and USD/CHF pairs ?
Thanks
(min lotstep 0.1), I would set deposit minimum $1-2,500 per pair, leverage 1:100.
(Min LotStep 0.01), i would set deposit minimum $250 -500 per pair, leverage 1:100.
On $1,000 balance, I would set Risk=2. Then, if EA performs OK, you can adjust Risk level as you become more comfortable with trading results.

After seeing your results I have been following the group itself and also put V4a on a small demo account which would mirror a live account if I chose to put it on there. So far so good although I don't have much history to go on with it. I have been looking for a profitable longer term EA as most of them focus on the short term time frames.
This morning however I find out that IamFX no longer allows micro lot trading smaller than 0.05 which I am not to happy about on my live accoutn due to my slow and steady approach.

Hello Wackena,
First, to be grateful for your generosity on having shared this EA,
Secondly, to congratulate, for what I consider a good work,
And to confirm that the version v2 has a problem,
Initially for ignorance, install it in a Broker ECN, with 5 digits, and curiously this works,
After reading this thread, I have installed it in a Broker with 4 digits, and have the same problem that other persons, have reported in this thread,
Error (131) invalid trade volume,
Thank you again, for this great work,
