sPhantom.
Because your system requires manual intervention for trade direction based on Economic factors.
I find it hard to understand how you did a back test for 2012?
Please clarify how you arrived at the backtest results?
Dear Wingy
There are some economic calendar news which make us avoid trading. We have did the same for the back test but of course because of human intervention the back test can't be the exact result of the EA so I recommend to study our live results instead.

Adrian: You can still reduce your risk setting or close the trade by hands. You would still have impressive return with half the risk master account is running.
I'm not associated with sP but I've been running it for a few weeks and it's amazing for now. I do however use my own money management EA on the same account. For sP I'm not changing trade size but I do have a few safety features overlooking trading.

I asked sPhantom the same question.
They recommended 15 risk (or up to 30 max.) for 1:400 account. I'm currently running it at 25 (having leverage reduced by broker to 1:300) but I am aware of my risk and I'm prepared to manage risk manualy if it comes to that.
That's all I know. So you're probably at a high risk for 1:500 account.
You could ask them. I guess you should at least go down to 20 or keep a close eye on the action.

HI
This doesn't mean the trades are against the trend. As you can check most of the trades are closed less than 4 hours.

@mrkmrk dont you think that with higher leverage the risk will decrease with the same EA settings ? I meen if you have a higher leverage such as in my case I would need less margin to open a trade with the same size and though more free margin will be available in my account so I would handle more DD without the risk of going to margin call. is that true ? what I meen here if I am using lets say 30% risk factor with 1:300 leverage it will be more risky than using the same 30% with 1:500 leverage.
