Hi Andy,
Is the VSA indicators/package system something that can become an automated system?
I see your comment below,
"NOTE: VSA Systems cannot be followed blindly, but if you learn the basic principles of VSA, this system should fill in the missing gap" What other tools are needed to make this fully automated?
How is this different than VSA from Malcom at ForexFactory?

@RedRhinoLab, I am not too familiar with Malcom's thread at FF, I have seen it in the top forums before and have looked at a couple posts, but I'm not exactly sure about his method, so I can't really comment on it.
I go much farther than VSA for my trading. I use my VSA tools but also I look for confluence with my double cross, Fib levels, etc. I just looked at his thread and saw he uses fibs too, but it looks like he uses them on larger timeframes and uses it as S&R intraday? My setups are purely based on retracements to catch reversals.
I think it could ultimately be automated, although the initial entry may be hard to figure out the algorithm since it has to do with identifying a specific market phase setup, but I know almost anything is possible too.
I actually have a friend who is testing a bot that is using my money management and entry levels, but I don't think he's been successful in identifying the market phase automatically yet, although he is up over 4% today so far, so we will see.

I found all the same indicators from Malcom's VSA forum thread, that is why I asked. If you can define how you trade with this VSA please contact me if you want it automated.

what chat room do you use? Can I get access for your Tuesday Trade session. If I can watch the methodology I probably automate some of your thought process to speed up your discretionary approach to trading.

Good to see you here RedRhinoLab, Andy's powerful system automated (or at least partially automated) with your knowledge of coding would be a win:win:)

I just wanted to give an update on this account:
I closed the account because I am moving some over to the PAMM account and pulling out the rest. I had to manually update the statement on here every time because of the Trading Station platform. Anyway, for the past week and a half I am down around -4% in the account. I got caught in a strong EU sell-off and recovered from it, but it set me back a little bit, as some members noticed in the PAMM account too. EU is getting more predictable again, and we should see some nice gains in the coming days.

it almost same like price action AhA 2.0. i use it for long term trading. using S/R not so good because we need to do it by manual. i mostly check in 20pm to 6.30am. i use it in contest. you can ask JacoAf in this forum. he has the indicator. i just got copy indicator.

Trader30, I have been with Andy since last year, but only got serious about it in late June. Have been studying and learning, and so far am up over 40% since the end of June. His course makes it understandable and explains a lot of the "whys" in trading. I would recommend his course to anyone who is serious about learning how to trade and make a profit. It is not a get rich quick plan, but rather a way to steadily grow your account with minimal risk. He has always answered questions and is happy to spend time explaining to this "novice" trader. Hope this helps........
