Anyone know of any martingales that exploit 0 margin hedge?
Here is something new i made, check the drawdown..
Even though DD is twice the account balance it cannot crash it seems, this backtest was only using 1:100..

Im just wondering if anyone has any experience with using 0 margin with martingale?
This is just a concept im playing with..

Thanks for posting this sirius1fx.
Yes, I had developed an EA which with certain settings, implemented this idea. It was a couple of years ago and I remember it performed amazingly on demo but unfortunately, it did not perform like that at all during live testing. I assume brokers have a system in place to prevent certain things.
As a side note (since a lot of people are so quick to discredit demo accounts), in my experience, this was the only instance of an EA that benefited from a demo environment but otherwise, any other demo testing I've done has been valid.
There are a lot of people that discredit a demo right away but really people, you have to know what you're looking for in a performance and you'd recognize if an EA benefits from a demo environment or not.
One thing I will say though is that (some) candles on lower time frames such as M5 and M15 do look different between demo and live so you'll have some minor differences if you're using indicators but otherwise, demos are great because they give you a good approximation for forward testing settings, etc., before going live.
