How to trade effectively in forex?

I think that there’s the only one way to trade effectively. It’s to trade everyday. To put that another way, you need to have enough practice. The more you trade the more effectively you do this. That’s a universal principle and it applies to anything. I don’t see any reasons why trading should be an exception.

I think that money management as crucial as forecasting the market. It’s believed that a trader shouldn’t risk more than 5% or 10% of his trading deposit. I think it could be reasonable if a trader has one depo, he’s not very experienced and he doesn’t have too much extra money. Experienced traders may adhere to other money management laws. This idea came to my mind recently. I think that he may have one or several depos for conservative trading where the rule mentioned above matters and he may have several extra accounts for risky trading where he can afford putting th...
Is trading for living possible?

Theoretically, it is possible to earn your living because of trading. However, that is not the simpliest task on earth, to put it mildly. First of all, you need to possess all the knowledge and skills which are necessary for making decent and consistent profits. Consistency is of utmost importance in trading, especially if you want it to become your main source of income. You need to plan your life and it is impossible to plan if you cannot predict your future returns from the market. More than that, consistency helps you evaluate your trading in a more or less objective way in order to make s...

Of course it's a good idea to seperate accounts where you are going to use various strategies for different timeframes. However, every trader decides by himself what is more convenient to him. For example, if you understand that you can trade on one account with several strategies on different timeframes, then you can do it. Moreover, H1 and H4 aren't so different. Well, if you would decide to scalp and invest on one account, then it would be much difficult for you to do it. So, anyway, it's great that you have such an idea.

It takes all the time. Learning process should never stop. You have to adjust your trading strategy to the market all the time.
Not gambling

Forex gamblers are really weird people. I do understand gamblers in Las Vegas (at least they get free drinks), they have some fun (which I don't understand) and they end up with no money in their pockets. However, they still had fun. As for trading, I have no idea, how can one derive pleasure from following the charts for several hours in order to blow their budget.
importance of skills

There is a positive correlation between the level of the skills and success in trading. The more skills you have, the better your trading results are. I doubt that there are any successful traders who are completely ignorant of economic and trading aspects and who base their decisions on gut-feeling.

When choosing a broker, I'm primarily guided by the platform. And I've read in many Fondex reviews the same thing. Because the platform is actually a trader's workplace. And a lot depends on how many features the platform has and how convenient the functionality is. I still haven't got the hang of MT4. I'm very annoyed by the clutter of elements that there are many panels and a lot of icons are hidden. They are hard to get used to. Moreover, not all functions are available on this platform. So when I tried cTrader from Fondex, I realized that this program suits me much bette...
