Providing signals to others to follow is not fun but a huge responsibility I think. If the signal is wrong, this means a loss for everyone. I don't see any fun here.

I am wondering if these signal providers on the social trading platforms have any liability for what they are sharing or it is at the follower's sole risk to decide if to copy the trades or not? Also, who stays behind these signal providers? Do they share revenue with the platforms on which they attract revenues and if the signals are wrong - who wins at the end?

The slippage is not that much related to the spread but depends on other factors like the volume of your orders for example. The tighter the spread, the better chances you have to reach your TPs and avoid early SLs. I believe your choice of option 2 is good for long term. Why account 1 is better in your specified conditions? I didn't understand that.When it comes to the broker, I would suggest to find one that does not trade against you but beware to read between the lines as sometimes what the broker says is different from what the regulator says 😄

But have Forex.com said they are NDD or they were stating they are market makers at that time you traded with them? I think they are one of the largest market makers without pretending to be something else. But since you have experience with them, you can judge better 😄 I am glad that FXCM got what they deserved in the end.

Yes, I believe the reduction of the leverage will keep both the DMA brokers and traders safe from huge losses. CySEC seems to be one of the most strict regulators these days in Europe with FCA and BaFin alongside.

Patience is king in such situations but of course it depends on your risk tolerance. Even if you analysed well the market, it may still go against you in reality. Wishing you good luck in your next trades! 😄

Very true about the discipline to follow the strategy consistently. I think it's important to accept that the price can have ups and downs but it is how you define your entry and exit levels that can make the difference.

Remember that regulation is one thing but the permission it grants is another. Would you like to trade against your broker (if a broker is allowed to deal on own desk)? If you have that big amount, maybe test the waters first with some small investment. The due diligence is your responsibility after all.

I also think it's now in consolidation range. I would not put new trades until I see clearer trend. RSI and MACD are in different directions on the pair - just to confirm that waiting for new entry is a good decision.
