No, if I am given to understand the recent email correctly. In order to vote for the proposals that KPMG have put forward for the insolvency you need to send in your Statement of Claim before 11th March to allow voting on the 12th.If you don't intend to attend the meeting in London in person to vote you will need to vote by proxy. These are the relevant bits from https://www.insolvency-kpmg.co.uk/case+KPMG+AF119D1101.htmlRetail client proxy formRetail client statement of claim formand appendix 6 from Joint special administrators proposalsI haven't had a chance to read all these yet myse...

Other costs and expenses are paidout of the firm’s assets."Can I suggest that if you aren't reading all documents you don't comment please as misinformation could lead to people failing to follow the correct procedures in a timely fashion and consequently not getting their due...

I might be wrong here but I'm pretty sure I read that KPMG's fees are coming out of CLIENT funds, which means it's unlikely we will receive all our funds back. I think there is a case to apply to the FSCS ( http://www.fscs.org.uk/ ) for the balance but I'm not sure about this.

You should have received an email from them, if you had a flat account on the day in question then you should be able to make a claim through the claim portal soon. If you had trades then you will have to wait until they review those trades. All information - and I know it is a lot and hard to read through - will appear on that website.

Other than some initial ones at first from KPMG no I haven't. By the way, as they aren't sending out email notifications of new content you might want to set up a web page monitor for changes to that page. Here's some you could use. I use the Chrome extension.http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/detect-website-change-notification/Best regards Steve

Don't rely on one broker. Surely this experience taught you this lesson? I run accounts with up to 10 brokers with trades copied between then. Best regards Steve

Here are some brokers I am with that acted ethically during the SNB crisis the other week. None of these are recommendations, please do your own due diligence with regards to spreads, slippage etc.IG, Hot Forex, DMM FXPersonally I wouldn't use just one broker. I use around 10 at a time, that way a broker going down doesn't take you down. I also had an account at Alpari but lost less than 10% of my capital due to broker diversification.Best regards Steve

Nothing really, an email or call will receive the same information already there. Here's the part relevant to you on that screen.http://c2n.me/3bgmoPM.pngIn the meantime maybe you could contact the FCA and financial ombudsman service, although my feeling is they would point you to KPMG.Best regards Steve

By Steve, are you talking to me? Keltner has nothing to do with me. I'm just a customer. I have equity alerts on my accounts and as soon as I get one I check the account. As soon as I saw my accounts I thought "fat finger" and then I checked Bloomberg. As soon as I read the news I shut down all robots and started trying to close down positions. On my Keltner account I came out okay, lost a few quid but nothing to cry about.Best regards Steve

News suggested that it would take at least 48 hours before the true fallout is felt.Personally I think there will be brokers out there crying "I'm okay it's just a flesh wound" that will bleed out over the coming weeks/months.There's going to be a lot of legal challenges, bad press and overall movement of clients between brokers as it's revealed which ones have stiffed their clients and which ones have played a fair game. A decent broker that plays fair and plays a good PR game could absolutely sweep up here.As I've posted on other threads, the ONLY safe way to tr...
