Tell me, are you paying an attention to any forecasts or you are just using support and resistance lines? I am glad that it is finally profitable but you can make it better.

I like it when it is 50/50 because that is my edge. I never forecast the market because anything can happen in the markets. I just use support and resistance in line with a long term trend. But thanks for the comments

I mean, maybe you will be able to make, for example, 70:30 if you will combine forecasts with S and R lines, who knows...

The one thing ive learned is anything can happen in the markets. Even forecasts only work 50% of the time so that is why I do not forecast

So true! In fact, the only thing we can be certain about is our stop-loss...we can predict this with 100% accuracy. I guess we are not really talking about forecasting in its true sense, but rather, added signal confirmation to lift the win/lose ratio a little more in our favour. That said, I did trade 90-Day Bank Bills back in the 80s on a 30/70 win/lose, and still made regular profits, so as long as the risk/reward is better than 1:2 a 50/50 will make gains. Good luck!

yeah you are exactly right that you cannot predict the market with 100% accuracy. Here is an article that explains why you should not try to predict the market
