High leverage is what makes millionaires out of traders, provided risks are calculated beforehand.

Leverage is important but it is also a risky game. If you have a high leverage, the profits will be high but for a short period only. Try to use small leverage, it will be beneficial in the long run.

high leverage is fine as long as you use a suitable Lot size. Even with a 1:500 leverage account you can choose to use 0.01Lot. You do not HAVE to trade 10+ lots just because you can

The higher the leverage the higher the dependence on brokers' liquidity providers. And lp's always want you to lose, because they want to make money. For a bank a broker is always a good investment. So, choose your leverage and lot-sizes wisely. Using a max. account leverage above 1:500 and lot-sizes above 100 is just gambling not trading. 😉

Small capital has little disadvantage because of that. 1:500 leverage is still risky especially for new trader with small capital like $50 or $100.

If you are an experienced forex trader then you can definitely trade with high leverage because it guarantees more earning as much as it also guarantees a lot of losses if the trade doesn't go your way or as you expect it to go. You therefore have to think real good about it.

As a trader I have known that high leverage trading is not the best option. It is better to take it long term with as less risks as possible, Sure enough you will make a lot of money but there is also a s a chance that you are going to lose a lot of money. Why take the risk when you can't handle the possible outcomes?

After many years of trading i finally decided not to use any leverage whatsoever as i have discovered that i am not a disciplined trader. It is very important to know the kind of a trader you are. I want to trade Forex forever, so therefore the most important thing for me now is to protect my capital first and then take some small profits here and there forever and ever. All strategy will fail at some point, the only thing that will not fail is your ability to manage risk and this is the only 'holy grail' in this market

High leverage can bring profit instantly if you are able to make proper trading planning with great risk management policy , otherwise you can fall a huge loss by taking high leverage , in this market place by and large traders in particularly the newcomers fall a great loss by taking high leverage due to non-sense planning and zero risk management approach. So, before trading with high leverage we have to know how to manage risk.

Even when trading with low leverage you need to know how to manage risk. A low leverage account can be destroyed just as fast as a high leverage one if you do not understand how to manage risk

Don’t think it’s a good idea for newbies to trade with high leverage. Many experts say they use around 1:100 as well. Of course, it’s always an option if you’re prepared for the risk.

Many options in using leverage, and in theory and risk, using smaller is better, as I use leverage to keep the 1:100, do not let too many open positions

this is my 84 month with profit in a row system , its 100:1 leverage , but im trying to not use anything above 33:1 in my trading, but im pretty sure if it was 200:1 i could not keep Max DD around 12% so it could be over 20% , i think 50:1 is the best leverage possible ( personal opinion )

Yea 50 is fine, I find it better to do lower and increase the profit in long time.

Hi leverage is fine if you intend to still make full use of a solid risk management plan. The problem is most who seek high leverage are looking to maximise their margin to take too many trades that are too big.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

To be honest, I don’t see any advantage of using high trading leverage; in my trading right now I’m using 100:1 trading leverage! I think, more than 100:1 is risky according to my trading strategy! Basically high leverage brings high damage!

Leverage is a tool and should be treated as that only. When you are thinking of opening a bigger position never use more than the basic leverage. stick to the 30:1- sufficient. Understand the usage and then open trades.
