How the correlation figures are calculated

Can anyone here or the admin please explain how exactly the correlation between two currency pairs are calculated and posted on this website?

For example, on a daily timeframe does it consider the movement of the pairs for that particular day only or take average of last few days?

What exactly is the basis of this calculation?

Thanks a lot.
