I personally prefer trading on an MT4 as you can use different types of indicators as per your preference.

Both have their own advantages. The MT4 is mostly used by currency traders due to its simple user interface, and the MT5 is used for multi-purpose trading like stocks, commodities, and currency trading, since the MT4 can only be used for currency trading.
