Are there any struggling daytraders out there who would like to have a trading partner they could be accountable to everyday?
I would love to find one or two other people who see the psychological benefit of having a partner, for the long run...
Maybe it could lead to meeting in person some day.

Sure, I'm down! What trading style do you have, and do you have a live myfxbook.com account documenting your trades?

I don't think it can be beneficial. Rather it will create more confusion in mind when opinion will differ. Suppose your analysis says market will go up and your partner says it's going to down. And he is right this time. Next time whenever you both differ, you will confused even if your analysis is right.

Michihito posted:I agree with you. It can create confusion. It happens many times with me. By watching other people's prediction I got confused and took wrong decision. Even if when you realize your analysis was wrong now I can take a reverse trading but ego not allowing as you want to be right. Basically psychological complications can come.

@Michihito
Thanks for your thoughts of the potential downsides. I am not looking to just share strategies and market analysis primarily. That is what most trading rooms seem to do. Looking for a motivated trading friend to be accountable and help each other reach our goals.

Having a trading accountability partner sounds like a good idea but there is always a confusion and a potential for conflict between the two partners. Putting your trust in anyone when it comes to money and trading is quite risky to be honest.

Whether this is a good idea or bad, will depend on the people involved. Not everyone works equally efficiently in pairs.
