while im enjoying my profits. let me educate you how to properly look at a portfolio and calendar of events.

CHF event was january 14,2014 the biggest gain of the accounts was january 22.

as of this week im up 11% with abs gain of 1800% ++

trading is still continuing. ..

My apologies for your misinterpretation of my comment. Allow me to clarify a few points:

a) My comment was made 'tongue-in-cheek' (did you see the 'smileys'?), meaning I was not being serious. My comment was intended as a joke. Obviously your gains did not occur on the date of the SNB decision (congratulations on working that one out Einstein) 🙄 But as DrVodka mentioned, it could be possible that you closed those trades on 22 Jan after losing half your profits since 14 Jan... it is impossible to tell when you hide your History.

b) As a 'newbie trader', how am I able to provide any 'personal experience' if I have none to share? 😝

c) I don't think your post was 'off-topic', so how is my comment 'off-topic' (if you are referring to me)? 😕

d) My question to you (if you care to answer) is: why did you withdraw your gains rather than compound them? (I assumed a lack of confidence in your broker, hence I commented 'you were uncomfortable leaving it in your account'). Of course, this question is 'off-topic', private / personal, etc. etc. (any other excuse?). But if you share systems or comment, you can only expect a response!

This all nice, but this very risky, becouse u get many money on short time and so can lose in one moment. I am get up from 10$ to 40$ but lose it when swiss central bank give me a surprise

How did you do? Wich strategy did you use?

yes its risky . but so it the whole forex business .
i use swing trading strategy .
if u can control your losses then there is not much risk ..

  With a drawdown that high you won't be able to. You will burst that account, and you will be kicking yourself for not having withdrawn.

1000 to 10k is the same thing as 100 to 1000 but with a more money . DD should stay the same

Control its very important, but what u do with trade position if u need to go when u get call for comming to parents an example?

My advice to anybody starting out in trading would be to start with a demo account, learn as much as possible and to give it at least a year before trading with real money. I've been trading with demos for a year now and I always open my demo account with £100 because in reality I couldn't afford to trade more.

Not only that shop around, try demos with different brokers because with some you'll get slippage with others it will be harder to open or close a trade. Some brokers don't provide a full history with their charts. Some brokers aren't even regulated.

.....but most important of all especially after what happened with the CHF, you need to CHECK YOU CAN'T LOSE MORE THAN YOU HAVE IN YOUR ACCOUNT!!!

Brokers will promise you the earth to get you trading with real money, but my advice is to take your time. My personal opinion about the market is that it's rigged and manipulated on a daily basis and that's not going to change until these regulatory bodies take some real action.

The accounts shown above were opened and then forgotten about because I'd forgotten the password but they show what is possible.

I've traded live a couple of times in this market and every time I've had my fingers burnt.
