What are your trading goals? and is there a need for one?

So lately I have been asked this same questions by newbies in my community and my reply gave them a much needed shock. Trading is a risky business, anybody who says otherwise is straight up lying to you, if you have done all the needed to begin your trading journey and you do NOT have a plan/endgame for your account after making your first deposit then you're straight up offering your money to your broker on a silver plater. have realistic goals and also be mentally equipped as well as educated enough to see your goals smashed at the end!😎

I agree that most people have unrealistic expectations but this different to setting goals in general. I think that setting detailed goals is not that helpful for most people. The obvious goal is to make money and we should focus on that rather than an arbitrary goal that may or may not be met

How you set the goals is up to you as most other things relating to trading

I have a level by level plan. First i want to buy a mustang for myself and after that buy a house and then upgrade them and start a local business.

My goals are just to be consistently profitable. I'm not expecting to make millions of USD each month but if I can make consistent gains then I can grow my account

TerraTopNova i completely agree with you. not only is your trading goal realistic, but should be the primary aim of every trader before anything else, consistent growth and compounding will do the rest. do the work put in the hours
