Say you messed up while using the API (i.e., active session ID), and did not log out of a session, nor did you save the session ID. If I log in again, should the session ID created by this new login be valid? If not, is there a way to retrieve the earlier valid Session ID/s?

If you didn’t log out properly, the old session ID is likely still active and could lead to issues. Usually, logging in again generates a new session ID, but it might not be valid until the old one times out.
