MT5 is superior to MT4 in terms of backtesting.

Is there any progress on this?
As Vontogr mentioned MT5 is better in every way, why don't we have the ability for MT5?
I would pay for it if it was a feature.

MT5 has a larger range of functions for passive formats (if the brokerage company provides this - it is also important). But MT4, in my opinion, is more suitable for personal trading, because it is a more dynamic and simple format. Well, this is purely my opinion.

The number of indicators and settings are slightly different here. But the appearance of MT5 has not caused the change of the trading terminal for real MT4 fans. In fact, it's hard for us to change what we are already used to... That's why everyone just has to work in the way that is convenient for them and in the format that will bring you more money...

Each of these terminals has its own features. So maybe the right approach is to try it, at least on a demo. And then make the final decision.

MT5 has much more possibilities for passive work format. But if we are talking about independent work, then I can say that they are similar.

I think that both of these trading terminals deserve attention, it just depends on your preferences...

I actually prefer MT4 to MT5 as I find it extremely simple and easy to use. If you are exclusively into trading Forex, then there is no reason to look for any other trading tool.

But for backtesting MT5 is much better than MT4
That's why it is worth it to start with MT5

MT5 is better than MT4. The number of settings are different and features are varied. Most people prefer using MT4 though.

As a forex trader, I am happy using MT4. I agree that MT5 has more functions but it is not as simple and flexible as MT4.

As I am a Forex trader, it is only MT4 that I have used. I don’t think I will change it anytime soon.

I agree that MT5 has better features but most traders still prefer using MT4 for their convenience.
