Yes this is a temporary market issue, BUT this change i'm making won't affect how it trades in terms of strategy, it will just have the EA not take a trade if the trade could go bad.

I have been keeping an eye on this system and I initially wasn't convinced and commented on it. After watching some more trades, I am even more convinced this is not for me at all!!!
I had to laugh when I read a comment saying, after the first -200 SL recently, it will only take 20-30 trades to recover the losses.
ONLY 20-30 TRADES????
That is in the realms ridiculous. This system is just a few bad trades away from disaster, taking all your cash. Three or four more of the -200 SL's and you guys are in trouble, if you are not already.
A few bad trades should only take the equal number of good trades to recover the losses.
I read that this strategy is based on micro-breakouts. The problem is the SL is not based on micro levels at all but on holding multi-day positions.
If I have a SL of 200 pips, I demand 200 pips potential profit and it must be a high probability trade. I do not see this in this system.
So, I am passing on this system, it's all yours!!

As you can see, starting from July when the system went live he no longer can fake the resutls and you can see the huge losses, hug and bigs.

I really hope CTP can pick it up from the DD.
Appreciate the trend verification but what does it do? Does it filter more bad trades away?

Very good doug thanks for improving system but one question please : what was different before with market so that the ea did not need a trend filter and worked good from the beginning? Thx for answer.
For other claiming its scam : No it is not a scam just use proper risk because losses wilk always be there you need to think long term ;)

So, what you're saying is that, the change you are implementing, will make the EA not accept a trade which is in risk of a trend reversal scenario?

I started my 5 day trial of swing trader today. Took my first two trades on microlots with a real account. I'll keep you guys updated if anyone else was interested. So far just from looking at it. Looks awesome. 1 to 1 risk to reward ratio. 30 pairs. And from looking over the last few days data, It's amazing how many times the market goes from the buy or sell point back to the average (take profit). Real big moves too. 250-500 pip moves. I'm really looking forward to this! Can probably do 2-3 trades a day between 30 pairs. Doug you gotta explain to me how to get the email alerts for trade opportunities as I can't always be by my computer

I've been waiting on someone posting this :-) Daily updates on your progress of Swing Trader Pro would be amazing :) I'm on the sidelines waiting for some good news from an actual user. I'm still in the "too good to be true" camp. That may change soon. Thanks alot.

I'll definately try for weekly update since these trades average about 3 days. But just from looking at the past data. It identified so many huge trades. Kinda wish I did it two weeks ago. I'm trading .01 lots until I get comfortable manual trading. But I like the 1 to 1 ratio a lot and how many pairs it works on.

So far I really like it. I did 3 trades yesterday. All of them are in profit almost immediately. One is up 117 pips. One is up 53 pips and the other 35 pips. We will see how the week goes.
