Why can't I log in in trader account??? Login+password were copied and pasted from registration form, but the only result is 'Invalid account' 😲

you have to choose fxcm-usddemo01 for server, if you can't find it then download and install mt4 from link given by email (contest registration info).

I downloaded MT4 from registration form but when I choose server, there are only two: FXCM-Powered by BT and FXCM-Demo

Well, I downloaded MT4 from FXCM home site and it worked. Damn fake MT4 from reg form was messy.

Try to increase Slippage, works for me, although I didn't notified any re-quotes or 'old ticks' by now, my slippage is 10 for currencies.

Hi Everyone,
As evillive suggested (thanks 😄), if you adjust your Maximum Deviation in the Order window, that should do the trick. Since FXCM uses 5-digit pricing (fractional pips), every 10 points is equivalent to one pip. Try setting the max deviation to 20 or 30 as shown below.

I see this on my terminal too, but it's not a big 'spike' which could ruin somebody's account, it could give you at least 100 pips of profit according to your picture.

Hi AtApi,
If you get the off-quotes message frequently, that is easily fixed by changing your Max Deviation. The Max Deviation lets you specify how many pips away from your order price you are willing to be filled, if your exact price is no longer available in the market. Even though you are trading on a demo, FXCM has tried to make the our MT4 demos simulate the live trading experience as closely as possible, which is why you are getting that off-quotes message. Try changing your Max Deviation to 20 or 30 as shown below, which corresponds to 2 or 3 pips.
In regards to your trade that was stopped out, I double-checked with our trading desk for you, and the prices are correct. Did you think someone tried to run your stop on a demo trade? 😉
