I just posted what amounts to a long review of High Risk Blackwave Alpine where another signal is being discussed, so I might as well post it here. I was addressing another trader who had concluded "that followers cannot win in this business in the end. They probably lose most of their capital in a few months." I replied:
Take a look at Blackwave Australia on Signal Start [that's the name of this signal on Signal Start]. I have been following for over a year. In that time, the trader, Gary Comey, has never lost on a set or basket of trades. When he opens a trade, if the price moves against him, he opens another trade in the same pair. Generally he might have 1–5 trades open in one pair, and sometimes he is trading two pairs at the same time. My point is that in the year I have followed him, while an individual trade might be a loss, there was not once a time when there was a net loss for the entire group of trades in one pair.
Unlike most traders on Signal Start, who are anonymous, Gary is quite open, which I appreciate. He communicates regularly with followers of his signals and MAM on Facebook (search for Blackwave Ltd). He has even posted the outline of his strategy there.
On Signal Start you can see results for Blackwave Australia since July 2015. He had a big losing month (-45%) in May 2016, and small losses of 2–3% in June and July 2017; all other months were profitable. Blackwave Australia is also here on MyFXBook, but under a different name: High Risk Blackwave Alpine.
You asked, 'How many signals run 10 months in a row?' On that point, Gary has an excellent article on copy trading at https://www.financemagnates.com/forex/bloggers/copy-trading-dos-donts/ He recommends only following a signal that has been around for at least a year. I made an exception when I subscribed to Maximus [and lost 95% of my account].
Gary does not return as much as Wassel does with Frero, but Blackwave Australia seems to double one's money about once a year. What I am learning is that it is important to diversity, maybe with 4–6 signals if I can find that many good ones. I am still hoping for things to improve with Frero, and I realize it was my mistake to put more than half my forex funds with that one signal.
Finally, I think the last month or so has been very different, since, as I have posted, other signals that usually do very well have had big losses during this time. (But Gary made a profit of about 8% in September, which is about his average per month.)

Very kind. I feel compelled to take the other side out of fairness but will resist. :-)

Hi Gary, what do you think about USDJPY and EURCHF. Do you think they will follow your assumptions?

Naturally. The DD is just over 2%. Don’t over leverage.

“Good feeling “ is not how I would describe it. My high risk FXCM account is leveraged at 1:20 and still has quite a bit of margin. Very sorry to hear that my friend.

Hi Gary,
Just read your post of July 3 on Facebook. I really appreciate your straightforward approach (as usual). No bluster, no B.S. Everything you wrote makes sense to me. I see that three positions were closed at big losses in the past month, and I understand that. You're keeping us far away from a margin call. In the last few years I've copied several signals, and yours is the one I have the most faith in. I lost >90% of my investment in two other signals, because the trader couldn't accept the need to close some positions at a loss.
It's great that you share your analysis on a regular basis on your Facebook page.
I've been copying this signal for almost 2 years, and I hope you'll be offering it for many years more, so I can continue.

I don’t use an EA. Hedging is not prohibited, I just don’t do it.
