So much cheap talk from people who claim to be using this on live account, but no proof. Upload your live account or shut up about the glories of this wonderful ea. How about calling a demo 'live forward test'? There is no such a thing. Live = real money. The rest is dust in the wind.

Why are you (still) not running MDP on a LIVE ACCOUNT...?

You should have made enough by now from sales from this EA to fund the account..?

Cheers, S.

scalper is always broker dependent,
if you want to see MDP working then go with low spread broker, low order execution time with low latency..

after that if you get the half of the original statement then still your in a winning row...i will also set up it on my live account and share it with you..
waiting for some funds as i will run it on ECN broker to full fill the requirement.

Hope it helps who thinks that its a fake bot.

The MDP web page shows a live forward test with live graph. That should be the same as a investor password. Im live on ibfx with a vps and its doing great at 1.5% risk. Dont go higher than that or you might not do so well. Home pc's and high speed cable has too much lag to trade a scalper system like this. Its night and day comparing home pc to a remote server. Im up 10% in the last 7 days on a small $350 account. I cant get it to run on my hotforex or forex dot com accounts. Perhaps they dont have the most recent MT$ build. IBFX is doing well. MDP is trading well even with the USA restrictions at 50:1 and fifo turned on. ( first in, first out). Thinkfx and Finfx trade more often( on a VPS), but the profits seem to be near or the same as my usa ibfx account. Thinkfx dont take USA clients. The SL is small at 8 pips. Draw down is maxed at 1.5 or similar per trade, depends on watch you chose to set it at. dont push the risk level as you can hit several losses in a row. My max has been about 3 losses in a row for 3 times,@ 1.5 is, 4.5 for a drawdown. Then you normally would have several profits higher than the loss. ON a weeks average I have always come out a head.

Hi Garry,

What's the avg execution/open/modify time of your MDP that you run on your VPS?

My avg execution/open/modify time are 300ms/750ms/300ms. I m not sure whether it is slow or average??

Thanks,
WG

They are display on a trading chart of MDP by the robot itself

You need less than 100ms if you can get it. Under 25 ms is very good. I have seen some vps's post 3ms but those are expensive and could be worth it if you had the money. Thinkfx seems faster than finfx as a broker, but my vps might still not be fast enought at 25 ms. Rememeber thats the time between your broker and your vps that runns your program. If you use a fast pc and a high speed internet connect your prob averaging 300 to 800 ms if you lucky and plus the lag time would kill the account. Last night thinkfx (19 trades) and showed a profit on MDP page but I got a few less trades (6) and both my acounts lost a little money. Rememeberr, thinkfx doesnt take USA clients. Im using ibfx on a vps.

Cant agree with you, Proffessor. I may guarantee that 0 ms latency to the trade server is not enough - 95% (or more) depends on the broker.
Do not know how the MDP measure these times - execution/open/modify w/o the source of the code... But it is still broker's dependent.
The latency to the trade server bellow 100 ms is good enough for 99% of the bots.
If you do not believe you can try: put on your VPS with the minimum latency the MDP, and in same time with same settings run it again from different place with bigger latency(but two on same trading account). Show me more than 1-5% difference and I will agree with you.
Brokers have white/black/green/grace/etc. lists - the trading(execution) depends *exclusively* on that... these are my 2c

Best!

No problem in agreement. The vps is to allow the broker to maximize thier speed for the best opportunity for scalping.

If the broker is to slow, even the fastest VPS will not help win profits. Today my ibfx didnt win any pips and had a small loss and the thinkfx won most of thier pips. I just wish I could find a way for me as a USA client, to be able to use thinkfx as a broker.

Aloha.

Yes, I have had it. I have closed it because of the spread. Compared to MB Trading it was way to big for me.

I still have to buy MDP. I will do it. I had hoped that my VPS was made already. But unfortunately to support promise too much. First the VPS, then the MDP.
