Here is an updated version. I haven't had the time to actually to get the latest invention 'SuperTrend' filter working for exits. I will hopefully get to that within the next week or 2. It could have a bug or 2 since I am playing with the live version, but so far pretty good.

I also have 2 other EA's coming out, but the code is a bit more complex, so I am having 'challenges'. :)

Nope. I believe not. I will have to do that one of these days. I am learning MQL and am no expert but getting help. It is a simple language, but I find their toolkit to be a pain since they don't have many pre-built functions to use.

Try it out and see what happens. Probably no orders taken. Not set up for ECN either. :(

Not hard to do, just burnt out at the moment trying to get another EA working. :)

I have updated it again. for some reason it add _tt when I uploaded it. :)

This fixes several bugs and adds a little bit of functionality. You can see it is working quite well again.

I got wore out on my double dragon... I had created like 3 new killer things added and I just got tired of coding! haha... I am now getting 'old tick' data which frustrates me and I can't figure out so I had to go back to two versions previous. I wish my coding skills were better! :)

I checked some of your comments on Geralds page it looks like you have been cheated by many people in your path of life ,i hate also dishonest people , i migrated to UK from India , because of single most reason corruption , some how i cant tolerate , i started forex for fun ,initially when i was bigner , i did not realise there are so many dishonest people in this business , i have handed couple of accounts to 8k and 10 k and last one 1500 dollars accounts to thease managed account guys , in no time they have blown accounts and they dont even reply to my e mail now , one guy he said he manages 100k dollars accounts , he used to show cents account of his words , at that time i didnt realise cents accounts exists , later on i was reading some forex forums , and realised the guy who took my account fo managment of funds showing another persons , mt4 accounts as if he is trading onhis own , so sharing Investors password also risky in this business ,i know little bit noe after burning 20 k usd
I have written this to letother people know how crooks exists in forums ,please dont laugh guys ,learn from my experince

What happened to a handshake, a person, who has true emotions to his own values, his own philosophy and a person who is OK with making mistakes. Is it truly that scary to hold yourself out in front of everyone and say, here I am?

Everyone is busy hiding themselves now to avoid 'IRS, SEC, ex-wife, creditors, etc..'. Baloney! If you truly make that much money you pay your taxes and you make more. That simple, all honest business people do it that way! Of course we all have skeletons in our closet, failed RE development projects, ex-wife, shoots I have tons... :)

The issue is people believe that if they saw their true self, then others wouldn't accept it. They have to come up with some mythical imaginary persona/avatar of 'Johnny big bucks' to 'sell' their piece of junk because they know of no other way to make an honest $$....

I truly do not blame them for being 'bad' people as I do not believe in good/bad, but I do believe I have a choice to do business with them or not. :)

I don't know if I will ever invest money with someone again unless it is truly something that is tangible and/or I know the person handling the investment. Know = agree with values

I think as time progresses we will see more honest people show up and or show their faces. OR, maybe they are so busy taking on new business from the crooked one's that they don't have time to blog. haha...

You know, I trade the main pairs with low spreads (not because of spreads) but because they don't correlate as many of the others do to the main pairs.

GBPJPY, EURJPY, EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD, USDCAD, EURCHF, USDJPY

The EA works great, and I still use it part time, but honestly, I am focusing on NanningBob's 5.0 system right now as it is basically the same thing (well, probably not as profitable), and a little less risk in my opinion.

If/when I get time, I will end up fixing the EA to incorporate the 2.4.2 drawdown system (which I do manually with this EA). Max levels should be 3 so you don't blow your account. Then, when it reaches 3 levels, close the 1st level trade (at a loss) and your 4th level will be the same lots as your 2nd level, the 5th level (close your 2nd trade at this point) will be equivalant to the 3rd level.

For example:
L1 = .01 lots
L2 = .02 lots
L3 = .03 lots
L4 = .02 lots (close L1)
L5 = .03 lots (close L2)

Honestly, I have never seen a trade make its way past that including May 6, 2010.... You have to stay the course and take the losses, otherwise you will end up losing more.

Another way which Bob discusses is the 1.3.1 system:

L1 = .01 lots
L2 = .02 lots
L3 = .03 lots

Close L3 & L1 when they are at BE. If the move continues to retrace, then stay the course on the L2. If the move doesn't, then enter L3 where you normally would and hope for a retracement.

I added a 1x3 cross (best for optimization) and it works beautifully on backtest, and I also added static minimums for Reentry of pair for distance and I found that a multiplier on the reentry to be useful. Again, this is all in my latest, but I need another programmer to work on it as I am too busy at the moment.

EURJPY is the only one that blows up significantly using this method static over the last 9 years from backtesting. But obviously today is different then yesterday! This system is only a 10% a month return type system, but you have to do the drawdown properly.

Oh, BTW, instead of closing the trade, I usually don't close out the L1 trade and I just hedge it!

Sometimes, if I think the market is going to go down some more then retrace, I will then time the hedge for an exit at BE when it comes back up and reenter the hedge if need be for that L1 trade. :)

Also, this system could be used with a nano broker (currently on micro) and you could easily do 12 levels and probably not be as concerned. :)

Of course your profits will be lower like on my blessings system. Blessings would be netting me probably 30% per month, but you notice my DD is less than 2% -- 99% of the time. :)

I will take a 6% return per month with a dd of less than 2% most of the time. I would think lately, my DD has been less than .5% most of the time on something that nets me 600.00 per month steadily.

Let's hope the market continues this crazy cycle for a while. :) A big run will happen as they always do.. I have had a few and I cut my losers quickly.

Just FYI, I have scaled out the double dragon EA/manual trading on this account, and I am now trading blessings 3 USDJPY on a test on Micro. This is a test account.

I have moved the other technique to a live account with about 33K to ATC brokers. Should be set up within 2 weeks for review.

I will most likely be accepting investors for that account (PAMM), so please don't beat me up too badly. :) haha... I am not out to steal anyone's money nor hurt anyone and it is everyone's choice to do it or not. I am also in process on becoming a Commodity Trading Advisor (Licensed) as I am tired of so many criminals running around offering services.

The plan is to keep a large amount of my own capital and if anyone wants to join the technique they are free too... This all started from a recommendation of a friend of mine (who wanted to co-invest) so we will see how it works out long term.......

(FYI, no martingale on anything other than my own accounts, period...)

Yes, I have (had) a friend who was a money manager for about $100M while I lived in Hawaii. When the '*hit' hit the fan, guess what.... He no longer lived in Maui! haha...

Funny how people are such experts and have no fear and a big ego, then they pick up, move to another location, delete any record of their failures.

I think what is more interested is how people are sucked into that. They want those people to be 'so wise' and 'so smart' and blah blah blah... Those are communities that get Hitler, Stalin, etc.. elected into offices.... I digress.... :)

Wow, thanks for the support. I am studying up for my Commodity Trading Advisor exam. Seems pretty easy if you have traded for a while! I am surprised at how easy it seems to be. Seems like reporting requirements aren't too bad either so we will see...

I will keep everyone posted and go from there. It is still a few weeks away and like I told someone before, this is long term, no rush.... :)

Key is to hold onto money and make a little more at a time. :)

I am most excited about another technique I am going to be trying soon in my LIVE account. Those who are kind enough to be on my blog here will get a dose of it if it works out. Still a few weeks out, so I hope it keeps up. I don't want to put it up here yet, because I don't want to look like a fool if I am missing something big... haha...

It is nothing I can offer to trade for someone else, but just a concept that seems to work with minimal drawdown that others can try as well with a very small amount. Unlike others, I will not be interested in charging for anything of the sort... :) Just having fun.
