I tried one of those scalping EAs a few years ago on Gold where the average trade is under 10 seconds. It is very broker dependent and needs a really fast and dependable internet connection. It looks great in demo but horrible in real life as it is very bandwidth dependent and your broker must have very low spreads to make it work. If the average trade length was at least 30 minutes then it will work for most people regardless of broker and internet connection.
