What a whirlwind 24 hours in the forex markets!
End of month low volume flows have certainly been felt by market participants especially overnight as the JPY in particular gained significant strength.
This is what can happen through this time of the month.
Low volumes = high volatility meaning it takes less market participants to push the markets in a particular direction.
An example can be seen in the video comparing the tables from 9am to 5pm yesterday.
