Austria Balance of Trade
Foreign trade is critical to Austria's economy, which is tightly intertwined with the economies of other European Union countries, and with Germany in particular. The automobile and its components, as well as equipment and paper products, are Austria's most important export commodities. Chemicals, machines and equipment, foodstuffs, metal items, crude oil and oil products, and motor vehicles account for the majority of Austria’s imports.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

Eurozone Inflation Rises Slightly To 2.1%
Eurozone inflation rose marginally in August but the rate remained near to the European Central Bank's 2 percent target, official data revealed on Tuesday. The harmonized index of consumer prices rose 2.1 percent year-on-year in August, slightly faster than the 2.0 percent increase in July, flash data from Eurostat showed.
