The unemployment rate in Austria is calculated as the number of people actively seeking work divided by the total number of people in the workforce.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR.

German Industrial Output Rebounds; Exports Fall
Germany's industrial output expanded for the first time in four months in July, while exports declined on weaker demand from the United States and China. Industrial production rose 1.3 percent month-on-month in July, data from Destatis showed Monday.
