Austria Wholesale Prices MoM
The wholesale price index is a measure of the trends in the pricing of items sold by wholesale firms in the marketplace. In order to gather prices for the 387 items included in the basket of goods, around 200 wholesale businesses were polled, which willingly provided approximately 1400 wholesale selling prices (exclusive of VAT) per month.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

Eurozone Inflation Rises Slightly To 2.1%
Eurozone inflation rose marginally in August but the rate remained near to the European Central Bank's 2 percent target, official data revealed on Tuesday. The harmonized index of consumer prices rose 2.1 percent year-on-year in August, slightly faster than the 2.0 percent increase in July, flash data from Eurostat showed.
