Loan growth in the Euro Area refers to the change in loans to households from one year to the next, adapted for sales and securitization.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German business sentiment weakened to a four-month low in September as prospects of an economic recovery suffered a setback, monthly survey results from the Munich-based ifo Institute showed Wednesday.
