France Markit Composite PMI
The Markit France Composite Output Index, which is based on data collected from a representative panel of around 800 enterprises, analyzes market dynamics across the private sector activity in France. Sales, new orders, employment, inventories, and pricing are just a few of the variables tracked by this indicator. A value greater than 50 implies an increase in business activity, whereas a reading less than 50 suggests a general decline in the activity of businesses.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
