Germany Construction PMI
The sample pool of over 200 enterprises in the German construction sector, is based on original survey data from the Germany Construction Purchasing Managers Index. In the middle of each month, data is gathered by asking participants to compare a range of construction circumstances with the scenario a month earlier. A number of less than 50 indicates that construction activity is generally dropping, a reading of more than 50 suggests that it is generally growing, and reading of exactly 50 implies that there has been no change from the previous month's data.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
