Greece Balance of Trade
Due to the huge number of imports, Greece experiences regular trade deficits. Mineral fuels, machinery, and transport equipment, as well as chemicals, are the most common imports. Russia, Germany, China, Italy, and France have all experienced significant trade deficits in recent years. The country of Greece has surpluses in commerce with Turkey, Cyprus, the United States, Algeria, and the United Arab Emirates.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
