Israel Business Confidence
The Business Tendency Survey, which is conducted in Israel, assesses the level of optimism that executives have about present and future trends in the areas of production, sales, demand, and employment. The study also identifies forecasts for alterations in the evolution of the USD ILS exchange rate as well as inflation. The poll is based on a sample of business leaders from five different economic sectors: manufacturing, construction, retail commerce, hotels, and services. The Business Confidence Index is calculated on a scale of -100 to 100, with values greater than 0 indicating confidence, zero indicating neutrality, and less than 0 indicating negativity.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the ILS while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the ILS.
