Italy 3-Year BTP Auction
The 3 Year BTP Auction displays the percentage yield on 3 year Italian BTP Treasury notes. Governments issue treasuries to borrow money to pay the difference between what they get in taxes and what they spend on debt refinancing and/or capital raising.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
