Japan Foreign Exchange Reserves
Foreign Exchange Reserves in Japan are the foreign assets kept or managed by the central bank of the country. The reserves are made up of gold or a certain currency. They can also be special drawing rights and marketable securities denominated in foreign currencies, such as foreign currency loans, treasury bills, government bonds, and corporate bonds and equities.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the JPY while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the JPY.
