Luxembourg Balance of Trade
Luxembourg is a country with a high reliance on exports. Tradition has it that the country imports the vast majority of its consumer items and exports industrial products (steel). Chemical and rubber products, finished glass, and the most profitable financial services are now included in exports as well as other items. The country continues to be reliant on imported energy. The European Union is by far the country's most important trading partner, accounting for around 84% of its exports and 87% of its imports.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

France's consumer price inflation softened in August on weaker growth in transport costs and the economy logged a faster growth as estimated in the second quarter, official data revealed Friday. Eurozone Economic Confidence Weakens In August
Eurozone economic sentiment softened unexpectedly in August as only industry and retail trade showed improvements, survey results from the European Commission showed Thursday. The economic sentiment indicator slid to 95.2 in August from a revised 95.7 in the previous month. The score was forecast rise to 96.0.
