In Mexico. the Gross Fixed Investment is a measure of the entire value of all purchases of fixed assets, both physical and non-physical, made due to a manufacturing process. Those are the only ones that can be utilized again in other manufacturing processes over a period of more than a year. The figure shows the change in gross fixed investment from one year to the next, calculated by combining the constant values of machinery and equipment of both domestic and international origin, as well as the value of construction. They consist of buildings machines and machinery equipment, transportation equipment, software, literary originals, and other physical and non-physical fixed assets; modifications, and upgrades, and additions intended to extend the life of the asset or expand its capability. Only new products are taken into account when it comes to machinery and equipment of national origin. Amounts earned by the country from the sale of new and used imported machinery and equipment increase the value of assets. The construction gross fixed investment index relates to the price of the investment at the time of purchase.
