For the purpose of calculating rolling three-month growth in Norway, a three-month period is compared to the preceding three-month period, for example, growth in May-July compared to growth in February-April.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the NOK while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the NOK.

Norway's central bank reduced its interest rate for the second time this year and signaled further reduction in the course of the coming year but not as quickly as envisaged before summer. The Monetary Policy and Financial Stability Committee of Norges Bank cut the policy rate by 25 basis points to 4.0 percent.
