Russia's GDP year-on-year (YoY) change in the value of products and services generated by the country's economy is measured in terms of the value of products and services produced in the same month the previous year.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the RUB while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the RUB.
