Seychelles Balance of Trade
In Seychelles, the fishing sector contributes to more than 90% of the state's overall exports. Nevertheless, due to a scarcity of mineral resources, the country is forced to rely on the importation of petroleum products. The principal trading partners of Seychelles are France, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the SCR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the SCR.
