Switzerland procure.ch Manufacturing PMI
The procure.ch Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), which is produced from an executive survey on their procurement expectations for the following month, measures the performance of the manufacturing sector in Switzerland. The PMI index is It is composed of all five indicators which were evaluated based on the characteristics: New Orders (30%), Production (25%), Workforce (20%), Provider Delivery Times (15%), and Inventory of Items Purchased (10%), with the Delivery Times index reversed so that it moves in a similar direction to the other four indexes. An index value above 50 implies that the manufacturing sector has expanded in comparison to the previous month, an index value below 50 implies that the manufacturing sector has contracted, and an index value of 50 implies that there has been no change.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CHF while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CHF.

Switzerland Logs Weaker Growth, Trims 2026 Outlook
The Swiss economy expanded modestly in the second quarter, as estimated earlier, and higher U.S. tariffs are set to push down growth prospects, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs said Thursday. Swiss Central Bank Lowers Policy Rate To Zero As Expected
The Swiss National Bank reduced its policy rate to zero on Thursday as inflation turned negative and the currency strengthened further amid global trade tensions.
