United States 3-Month Bill Auction
The 3-Month Bill Auction in the United States is a percentage yield on Treasury bills that mature in 3 months. It is held every three months. Because the yield rate can be a good indicator of the state of the US government's debt, an increase in the rate may signify the beginning of economic growth, while a reduction in the rate may indicate the beginning of a downturn.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD.
