United States Participation Rate
The civilian labor force participation rate in the US is defined as the number of people who are working or who are unemployed but looking for work as a proportion of the population aged 16 and older.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the USD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the USD.

A report released by the Commerce Department on Wednesday showed an extended slump by new orders for U.S. manufactured goods in the month of July. The Commerce Department said factory orders fell by 1.3 percent in July after plunging by 4.8 percent in June. Economists had expected factory orders to decrease by 1.4 percent.

U.S. Construction Spending Unexpectedly Edges Lower In July
A report released by the Commerce Department on Tuesday showed construction spending in the U.S. unexpectedly edged slightly lower in the month of July. The Commerce Department said construction spending slipped by 0.1 percent to an annual rate of $2.139 trillion in July after falling by 0.4 to a revised rate of $2.141 trillion in June.
