(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen weakened against most major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The yen fell to a 15-year low of 159.92 against the euro and nearly a 2-week low of 183.69 against the pound, from yesterday's closing quotes of 159.70 and 183.35, respectively.
Against the Swiss franc, the yen edged down to 168.15 from Monday's closing value of 167.98.
If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support support around 162.00 against the euro, 186.00 against the pound and 169.00 against the franc.
