While considering move here from pepperstone Ctrader, i found this about the platform in FXPro Helpdesk: What commission will I be charged for trading on the FxPro cTrader platform?cTrader clients are charged 65 USD for every 1 million USD traded upon opening a position and the same amount for closing a position........they mean I will be charged arond 12 euros for opening-closing 1 standard lot position? are they kidding or what?!?!?

I had slippages on XAU/USD as well, like +5.00$ (accounts for 50 pips in MT4) in high volatilty, but since i trade stock also I dont get shocked for excessive far filling... what i can advise to Paracelsus is to move to a professional broker if he trades high volumes. Pepperstone is a retailer therefore the flaws are many 😉

I would like to see you post an image of the chart and your balance with the Filling, also you should know that with such pairs ludicrous slippages can happen due to sucky liquidity,so you should be aware of that..

I hedge with them with subaccounts, its a pain to keep the balance right, its not worth it. There are plenty of good brokers that allow hedging.

They should at least introduce an automatic withdrawal form instead of emailing an iron courtain named lady like Nadia,Katrina, Struskoskya or whatsoever...

Since the mql4 language is not compatible with the new platform, any sound trader which uses his custom indi and eas, refined over years of tuning and through research, simply doesnt give a damn about mt5.

They surely are part of the game, but if you take trading as a serious business you are in charge of optimizing costs to maximize income, they impact a 50euro account as well as a 1million..My advice is to use the same currency you use for living, and since you trade on leverage(with clear conditions) all the trade you do will be more profitable than the mere swapping, because you are LEVERAGED... otherwise it is not different from going into your bank and change phisical money :)

It easier said that done,be advised that some broker will apply awful prices when sending you withdrawals in different currencies, or you have to deal with your bank, I make an example..You put 1000 EUR in a USD account, the spot quote is 1.3000(pure examples here) the deposit is processed by a third party financial istitution which gives you this price 1.2930 (i have seen even -150 pips commission), so on your platform you have now 1293.00 dollars for trading. In the following weeks EUR strenghtens against USD of 200 pips,so spot price is 1.3200 (or can either loose) and you managed to make so...

Execution is good, I hedge eur/jpy on volume spikes, so far its good. I also trade with pepperstone but, even if better regulated, that 3% commission on each deposit is making me unsatisfied. I'll tell more with the trades to come

the fact that hedging is not allowed with them makes unviable for many traders

I, as an informatic engineer, strongly believe that algo trading is utmost succesful in the long term.Surely Human brain is far more flexible than a program, incredibly fast in information processing but dominated by feelings, stress, and more important... fatigue.By now the most powerful firms invest in server farm and HFT, rather than skillful traders, makes sense...

Opened an account edge razor, and during the deposit I stubled upon the "Bank of Australia" fee...its 3% on the non AUD currencies and 1.8% on aussie. Now i was going to deposit 2000 EUR, actually i wasn't planning to begin trading relieved of 60 euro just from the start -.-

Its a martingale, I use it on my micro account but I had to set up a second EA to close losing position, and with that it's not that bad, also i set the sistem to not trade on the london opening, because in backtest the major losses of the sys where due to price spikes :) oh and set one trade per day, usually the first is a winner!
