On a side note, Alex has recommended a lot size much smaller to be safe, I choose .5 on my own.Other than that I am using the same settings he said to and I could not be more pleased so far.If you are having trouble, can I ask what you set your GMT offset to?I set mine to +2 as per Alex's instructions and it works great.Cheers.

I have been using it with octaFX since Oct 20, amazing results.the only problem I have had, I created.I got to excited and changed my lots from .5 to 1 and in three trades killed the account.I reset the demo account back to 1264 (before I made the change), slapped myself on the hand and left the trade lot at .5.Since I started at 500, the account has better than quadrupled.I decided to leave the whole thing there so people know I am not making things up, I am being sincere with my findings.I will be going live in Jan and that will be for public viewing as well.Cheers :)

Seriously, I am concerned that any attempt to improve this amazing formula will ruin it.I would respectfully suggest putting aside a copy as it is and then making changes.When I order more licenses in the future (and there will be many for friends and family) I would same the exact same product.Amazing and Bravo Alex.

From what I have seen this EA uses indicators to decide enter/exit, and that goes against the idea of a grid.I grid would be more much rigid in the TP/SL.I am happy with it so far, other than my one mistake 😲 😭this EA has provided a great return on my cost.In Jan I am going live, still keeping the demo account for experimenting but the live will be visible as well.Cheers all 😀

I made a mistake and did that.Yup it popped the account lol.So I have gone back to my original lots and will not make alterations while I exhausted again.Just to be clear, yes the account broke but thats why we use demo to experiment.I would say that out of 19 out of 25 trades being good decisions the fault on last night lies with me.I am still going forward with this as if last night did not happen :)Cheers all.Alex recommends .1 lots but I was using .5 with great success so I am doing that again :)

Well I learned a lesson last night.DO NOT adjust trade sizes etc when I am half asleep. 🙄I busted my account.So I reset it back to the way it was at approx 1290 and reset the settings the way they were.For any that are wondering, I am looking at trade history to judge this EA, not single trade values.Consistent winning choices is more valuable to me than a few big trades.Cheers 😝

Okay so I have left forex4you and went with Oanda.I had no solid reason other than Oanda has been around in Canada a long time with a proven track record and I am not familliar with forex4you.I set the account to start with 450 USD, thats where I left off with forex4you.I have made no changes to the setup I was using for the EA LionFXLets see how it goes.

Okay so you may have noticed that the amount that the trades are worth has gone up.The only thing I changed was the lot value in the EA. When the Lot value is set to 0.0 the EA decides how much to trade based on account balance etc.I set it manually at 0.5 because that's as much as I feel I should chance, the EA was trading .05 and that was netting profits of like $2.50 and that's just not worth the time to me.This is the only deviation from the recommended settings.Cheers . 😀

Well all I can say is that when I ask Alex a question I get an answer.I purchased his EA and I am running it using a demo account.I started it Friday so its only had time to make one trade so far and it did not win, but hey not every trade is going to win.I am using the same settings that the author recommended.😀
