Hey Guys,I think we are all very happy that new version came out.I'm personally very excited and can't wait for first results to come out.DREW : has Andri clarified that point ?"Andri claims to have discovered something to add to the code to really minimizedrawdown (by 40% !!) with no decrease in performance. This remains to be seen."Thanks, Cheers !Dave

Hi DrewYeah sorry I ' m asking a lot of questions. I m often very thorough, especially when all details matter.About tuning lot size, backing off on multiplier and why cent account help you reach your objective ... Sorry again, I don t get the idea at all ... 😕I think I lack knowledge about how TEA sizes lot in relation to Balance = how lot size grow when balance grows too.I m a tough pupil for you prof 😉CheersDave

1) 100% RIGHT !!! (At least for me)I m expecting that kind of sustainability and then using the power of compounding to build a wealth and try to afford my life off of the cash flows. (I might be dreaming awaked but I ' m willing to check it out)2) As per your statement : "tune" the lot sizesI m interested to know how you would do that ?Why cent account with 10k ?Do you feel the need for a special setting in the EA to achieve lot sizing in order to follow a ROI plan ?3) I m experiencing a risk 3 mult x6 demo on 10k on 28 pairs. This seems to yield 17% mo with 1,72% ridiculous DD ...

Hey all,For Crane : although my first demo didn't have them, my IBFX demo had all the GBP trades opened when you mentioned them. Almost all closed today. For Drew : thank you for the explanation about the mechanism. As per Guilherme's post : is there any interest to run FXCure with multiplier x0 vs TEA ? Or does that make it plain and simple TEA ?Cheers,David

Hi Crane,I have no idea, but I suppose it's the same mechanism.Though, from 1 TEA to another and depending on a lot of factors (broker, date of beginning etc ...), results can be different.Cheers,David

Hi Drew,Right but how about :- the virtual order is just useful until we have a real order- why don t we just use the storage for virtual orders as long as we do have a real order in regular array variable (or global if Necessary)- then we throw the storage and the program relies on comments from real orders for establishing level structure as soon as we get a real order- in case of MT4 restart or EA re-attachment which will cause re- initialization, we just loose the necessary time to reach first real order for a pair without real order yet.- that way, no Data flow slow down hassle etc ... A...

Hey Guys,CRANE : Drew has answered most of your question.Though, as for your point 2) : From what I understand, TEA's logic is fully integrated. When we wonder to ourselves if the TP distance is the same than in TEA, this is indeed to verify that the programmer hasn't make any integration mistake.BUT, you're mistaking on TEA mechanism, as I could see 1.95 source code : Only trade entry is based on MACD indicator. Then it's a fixed pips distance for TP with a pair-based multiplier. I'm 100% positive as I've seen it for myself in source code. Therefore, my wonder was : can w...

Hi Crane and Drew,Thanks both for your answers.Have you seen all the baskets closed today and the 10% progression within the day ?1) Ok Drew, I ll be waiting for more news after you talk to the programmer. Anyway, as a math teacher with market experience, do you think TEA's logics regarding TP distance is optimal ? Or do you think you can optimize it further ?2) by the way where is he at, regarding the "global variable" dilemma ? And the fact that reboot seems to be forbidden ?3) how are your new demos doing ? Can you share your results ?Y'all have a great WE, Cheers,David

Hi All,For now, the DD on the Demo Account (FXCure_That_Works) is getting absorbed.Large basket (x21) are almost closed. CADJPY could be closed in about 30 more pips retracement ... OR it can go back to trending short again and we can miss the shot.DREW : as you know, I'm really willing and commited to see FxCure works as it's supposed to as I totally believe in the concept. So far, that results I'm seeing are very good and I'd love to see it keeping up like that !There is ONE point that came to my attention for which I'd like to have your opinion and more information on.Th...

Hi Craneliu,1) Thanks for your explanation. That is useful. You totally summed up TEA and its mechanism with trending periods etc ...I also totally agree when you said there was no good method to minimize the effect of a strong trend or ... Perhaps Drew's method.I really hope this to be the trick.2) Your point about seeing the TP at a 60pips distance or so , for level 6+, in some TEA version, IS VERY important to me regarding the trend preventing mechanism.I'd like to have Drew's opinion on this :- Can it be an additional security to strong trend ?- Is there any pitfall in doing th...

Done.I'm a newbie to myfxbook ;-)Also Crane, I'm interested to know what do you achieve to do with TEA ?(Up time of your accounts, overall profit, what pair and what risk, how many account blow up and if you have tricks to protect yourself from it)Thanks,David

Hi Crane, Drew,1) Here is the link to myfxbook IBFX 28 pairs FxCure Demo :https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Tradydave/fxcure-28/8191762) I'm interested in the 2nd point : less pull back to close big baskets that have reached 21x + levels. Cause that latest 130pips to close basket is the nerve of account blowing mechanism in TEA.Cheers,David

HiDrew : I really expect that system to be sustained-trend proof, cause that is to me THE problem of TEA.Though, you guys seem to do good with TEA.I'm interested to know what are you guys achieving ? (Up time of your accounts, overall profit, what pair and what risk, how many account blow up and if you have tricks to protect yourself from it)Good news. My new FXcure 28 pairs demo on IBFX has opened its first 3 orders on 6x (0.06) for 3 pairs.I guess there is no broker related problem anymore. (Or there never was any but in my mind ;-)Crane : of course I don't mind you watching my FXcu...

Hey Drew,1) I figured out later that on the first levels, TP is 60 pips away from the latest order and later on, while shifting up on the levels (in a hard trending scenario), the TP would be 130 pips away or so from the latest order. For any reason (better spread with that broker ?), my TEA has only a 3 sell orders basket opened on USDCAD for now which is odd considering the hard trending lately. That's why I wasn't able to compare properly. So that's OK for that point.2) The setting of my working demo is Multiplier 3 iRisk 1. The first order opened is with lot size 0.06.Does that a...

Hi All,I need your lights on this :I have a Tom's EA demo running along my FXCure demo. The USDCAD is trending in a unusual fashion right now.In TOM's EA (risk 10) I have a basket of 4 sell orders (0.01/0.01/0.01/0.03).Right now the TP is at 84 pips from the current price and last opened order at 75 pips from the current price. In FXCure (iRisk 1 Multiplier 3), I have 4 orders (0.06/0.09/0.12/0.15).Right now the TP is at 148 pips from the current price and last opened order at 136 pips from the current price. Why is there such a difference ? Is it norrmal ?DREW : is that a normal behavior...

Drew,I'm not saying that. I have no clue of how do "Global Variable" behave. I never use them. All I see is that something goes wrong when the terminal is restarted.Could be Global Variables but also could be "Init" and "deinit" functions.I can't say as long as I have no idea what's in these sections in the source code. Here is my idea to try to simplify things and make them run as expected :I wouldn't care about "lower level orders that are not actual trades" as long as there is no real trade. If you loose that information over a restart, a...

Hi Drew and guys,Me again.I've added the account to myfxbook :https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Tradydave/fxcure-that-works/814207The Profit Factor is just amazing !BUT I've made a discover : OrderComment() is already used for Order_level storage ...So I'm wondering why is Global Variables usage needed.I hope there's no too good answer to that cause I really believe avoid using global variables would solve problem. That was just my 2 cents.Cheers Fx_Curer !David

Drew,I'm really glad I could be good news carrier and made you day !I know how it feels like to receive good news on something we care about.Again : I really like the idea and believe in it.For now, it's not linked to any Myfxbook.I'll do it within the next 48hrs and keep you posted.I guess I'll have to refresh the EAs/Indis list and risk to see the trouble starting. But, hey, that's a way to find out !There are 5 or 6 others MT4 for various brokers running on the PC so that's not a problem.I believe (without being 100% positive) the trouble is likely to be linked to re...

Hello,First of all : LOL ! I thought everyone was doing OK as there was no activity on the forum. If my memory is OK, I think I've installed a new IamFX MT4 just before starting that one and my computer never rebooted since then. (Thanks UPC ! VPS would have done it too)I really hope that's me having the normally running demo and not you ... Cause If that would have continued that way after another 1 or 2 Fed Announcement, I would have put money on it, with nano lots for a start.DREW : I really believe the concept is good so I'm 100% with you to push the development.I'm quite an...
