As I said in the setup tutorial, stop hits are rare, but if you are using a hard stop it will happen sometimes. I also stated that I do not use a hard stop and I do not recommend that you do.Exit strategies are often more complicated than a simple stop loss. The EA is not a "pray for return" EA, it will cut losses. If you are not comfortable with the risk, reduce your lot size, the EA will not blow the account at default lot sizes.. I only put a hard stop feature into the EA because many of you will complain about not having a hard stop. Listen to me and leave the Stop_Loss set to 0....

Time_Start is an integer, you only type numbers. (0-2359)You time zone is not relevant, if your Time_Offset has been set properly, a Time_Start of 0 (00:00) will always equal 5pm New York time.

If Download_Settings is set to true "Side" is downloaded. You do not need to adjust any of the settings, the EA is fully automated.If you are going to use your own settings I would recommend against only buying in an up trend and selling in a down trend. Markets range most of the time, if the market is high, it is in danger of falling and not returning. It would be a better idea to short then (counter trend trading) The strategy has nothing to do with trend, trend is unreliable unless you have some fundamental reason to beleive that the market is going to keep trending.

The upgrade will be free.I feel that I over updated MFM4. It was trading less but still hitting all of the losses. The EA did much better back in December and January when the strategy was simpler. I'm improving and simplifying MFM4 and releasing it as MFM5, probably this weekend. After that, the EA will not change, except for settings.The first week test went very well, 22% in one week. I wasn't going to update the fxbook account until I was done with MFM5, because I knew people would start asking me about it, but it took longer than I thought.

There never was an MFM1 or MFM2. MFM3 is still functional. I didn't feel like coming up with a new name for my new EA, so I called it MFM4. If I would have forced all of my MFM3 traders up to MFM4, many of them would have been unhappy, because MFM4 is a very different EA. I stopped sales of MFM3 because it doesn't make sense to promote two EAs. Plus, MFM4 corrects many of the issues that I came across running MFM3.I work hard on my EAs, and they work very well for most traders, people like you just want to believe that everything is a scam, because you cannot stand that I created somet...

I had a VPS issue yesterday. There were 3 copies of MT4 open on my VPS, but only one was visible. Once I realized what was going on, I set the TPs to neutralize and changed the password with my broker to stop further trading until I figured out what was wrong. The trades neutralized but it jacked up my draw down.
