There are still many people trading with unregulated or dealing desk brokers even today and operating in a way you describe.you were reffering to non existent price well, here are some screenshots from life price feed from ecn brokers Iam using.http://www.myfxbook.com/files/mavericks/darwinex_price_level.pngIt is clear that price was not accurate at least at two of them.If you got caught, well bad luck for you, in my experience it is next to impossible to get money back at such occurance even thoug broker is regulated and respected.unless you are ready to fight very long and very hard.

Well I chcecked with all 4 of STP/ECN brokers I have accounts with. same spike could be found at 2 of them.Recent swiss events have shown us that it is extremely difficult to get something back when you got hit by nonexistent price. Unless you are ready to fight for years.

I had a private conversion with person posting this at the same day (before he posted this nonsense)He contacted me with unrequeste message. Basically he asked me for investment in his trading and I declined.He has send me some pathetic screenshot of of single trade and some weak account - claiming thats his.When you look closely at his account you will see two accounts with drawdown over 99 percent (his only live account) now who is mr. blown account ? He is right in one thing:I do have nice webs - in fact a plenty. Accounts shown here are simply continuation of long term profitable strategy ...

:)Yes there are many people following same old tired agape over and over again, applying useless knowledge hoping for better results. At some point they realise that coward trading will not save them, so they make dumbest gamble, betting rest of account on one position.If you already have a great entry and exit , no matter what you do you will be ok anyway.Martingale will propably not make or brake your strategy. Interesting. Actually I took a time to read it :) My observations:1) It is not written in the stone that price would not move outside of current boundaries, and forget that there was ever some center point.2)It takes exponentialy longer time, considering daily range to get back the losses, after longer lasting streaks.3) Your systems sounds more like an averaging system to me with some characteristics, of martingale. But basically you are waiting for some correction buoing / selling at better price - I have no problem with that. :) But anyway. something to think about. Regarding martingale and...

Best way is not to trade (gamble) it at all.Second best way is to do antimartingale.

Vydim ze chlapec je natolko zraneny ze tu preklada siahodlhe komentare.V podstate co sa stalo je ze ten clovek mi napisal privatnu spravu a snazil sa mi nanutit aby som investoval do jeho obchodovania.Potom mi zacal posielat nejake smiesne vysledky, co akoze chcel zrobit dojem.Tak som mu slusne povedal ze ma to nezaujalo a nemam záujem.Chcel mi pomoct asi tak ako cigan co vam chce vitukat pinkod od bankomatu. Wise wordsJust had a nice long conversation with this gentleman with two blown live accounts.Seems like a nice and smart guy. Excellent results. He feels like he can trade because he has done that for the last 3 weeks or so :DCool guy I recommend him for charity :D

This is a complex question. Market makers do not hunt for single traders, but often times the trader is part of the herd. Actions of single trader cannot be predicted but herd behaviour remains the same and is predictable.They see both side of the markets and specific algorithms are able to mark the price up/down if the movement pays of.Its not betting for them. Also , current 1 lot trade is 10x amount of previous trades. considering the account took a dive, it should be called a pure gamble.Its not my money so better place some bet. Last pathethic attempt to keep mask of expert trader, whilie talking on all forums simultaneously.Cool :)
