I have heard from many traders that MT4 is best for trading currencies, you think?

Which do you prefer - MT4 or 5?

Are the increased number of pending orders in MT5 helpful, realistically speaking?

Try day-trading. It’s quite similar to swing trading but at a faster pace. So you’ll know what needs to be done and it’s different too. The time frames you’ll trade here would range from 5-15 minutes.

Unnecessary trade

When I started trading, I started using the 15 minutes chart believing that more trades would equal more profit. I mean if one can make 2-3% on a trade that lasts for 2-3 weeks, what’s the harm in making the same in 2 hrs? Damn how wrong was I and late to realize that overtrading did nothing but exhaust my funds at a much faster rate.
Leverage is important

No doubt the probability of profit increases if you use a good leverage but for absolute beginners, it is safer to keep it low. In my experience of it, keeping it to 1:10 or 1:20 is pretty convenient and safe. The right choice of broker is also an important factor. Anyway, I’m looking for recommendations so feel free to share, thanks.

Fast withdrawals are really helpful because you have the real world estimate of how much you are gaining in hand.

I was checking ironfx, fxpro and liteforex offering a variety of options on MT4/MT5. Looking for recommendations that offer even more. Thanks.
What should be the risk percentage?

Ok, so I do understand that the 1% rule is for the beginners, rather it’s the most critical rule they need to set and follow. But what if I’ve spent years trading? Do I still need to follow this risk reward ratio?

I don’t think fund transfer can be so fast because it takes time to process.
What should be the risk percentage?

Call it a strategy or not, there’s actually a simple formula that asks you to compare the amount you’re willing to risk on the trade to the prospective gain. Statistically speaking, if you’re planning to have a prospective profit of $600 as compared to a projected risk of $200, the risk reward ratio in this case would be 1:3. So, now if you place say 10 trades with a ratio of 1:3 and only made profit in 3, you would still make $400. A decent amount of profit despite being correct only 30% of the time. The 1% rule can give you the leverage to withstand a long string of losses...

Is there any strategy or any method to set the risk reward ratio for a day trader like me?

Even if this is a demo, the leverage is way too high for it. Could work on that.
