Ok, so the move up yesterday was surprising and with lots more data coming out today it is hard to know where it is going to go next. There is an area of resistance a few pips above the current consolidation and i don't expect to see any break out until after 6am UK time. With all the data that is coming out today , i don't expect the price to be range bound and i think that it will either break the purple or the yellow lines and that will give an entry signal. However, if it breaks short of the current consolidation phase at the UK open, i will open a position with a TP at the yellow line.

My SL was taken out at break even. Annoyingly enough, after i missed my TP by 1.6 pips. the price is stalling around the fib, but we are still in an uptrend. I don't know which direction the market will go next. I think we will see sideways movement from now and during the asian session.

The question is how far will it retrace. I am still short from yesterday and waiting for my TP to be hit. Irritatingly, i missed it by about 1 pip earlier.

If i'm creative enough, i can make the 38 fib line up with the previous support and going through monday's window. It's a nice idea, but i don't think that anything works that perfectly. Yesterday's SL at 1.37 is still holding and is just a few pips above the retrace, but volatility might stop me out, which would be annoying.

The news came out positive for the US so I have gone short with a SL at 1.37. I have no idea how far down the price will go so i have just set my R/R = 1.
