I can't logon to IC Markets. Support says they are working on it and not sure when it'll be up again. How does one deal with this??

Yeah mine lost connection on Real for half an hour. Demo was still working fine.
Now AUD has gapped on all pairs... is this a market correction or ICM feed issue, or a liquidity issue?

some time ago you had problem with server which you were not able to fix for weeks.
Now it is happening again.
Dont you think you should AT LEAST inform users you have problem so they DO NOT TRADE to avoid trades without control and losses?

Hello,
If you have any damage/losses on trading accounts due to issue in their servers (and they did not inform you or the issue repeats), ask them to cover/refund the lost amounts.

ICmarkets is POS. Yesterday it froze for about 1 hour, while I was in a nice scalp! I would suggest moving to pepperstone! :)

Well, I used their demo trading service for several months! Basically, in my demo I used more than 17 trading brokers for judging their live trading activities! In addition I have an interesting experience, many brokers increase their trading spread during high impact news in their live account but not in demo!

IcMarkets are good.
They are not perfect though but havent had an issue with them for a long time

The main problem of IC market is, they freeze the trading chart during high voltage news session; worst experience on news trading!

That doesn't just happen on ICMarkets, infact also a few other brokers that i used before in AUS.
But prefers not to name them.
one of the issues of these retail brokers is they have too many clients on a single Server. So changing server doesn't really help because there are so many orders going through. And because they probably are not a STP A Book broker, they have internal B book plus C Book for hedging and throwing out, this caused massive delay especially during the high volatile period. Thus explained, why orders may not be filled as well as heavy slippage. The connection is already having a bad time plus other attributions like Your own VPS or computer and so on.
So it's very common to experience server going down, freezing etc.

Yes is true, IC Market freeze chart with important news, before I use IC Market.

Same experience here! No, there was no technical failure! I see, they make it intentionally!
